Ear Lobe Repair

Many people wear pierced earrings. Over time, heavy earrings can stretch the hole in the earlobe. Occasionally, hoop or large earrings can get pulled and this can also cause stretching of the piercing or even a complete tear though the earlobe. In either case, the resulting earlobe may look unattractive. The lobe may no longer be able to support pierced earrings, may only support hoop earrings, or the earrings may be malpositioned. Earlobe repair corrects all of these problems in just a few minutes.

Brow Lift

The effects of time and gravity cause the forehead to sag. As a result, the eyebrows flatten and descend causing excess skin to accumulate in the upper eyelids (hooding). Cheek or "Mini" Face Lift

Rhytidoplasty is the formal term for "face lift". This operation restores a more youthful appearance by lifting, tightening, and removing excess skin. The weakened muscular support structures are also tightened, and excess fat is removed, repositioned, or sculpted to recreate a pleasing youthful appearance of the cheeks.

For the purpose of this discussion, a "mini"-face lift will be used interchangeably with cheek lift, and will be defined as surgical rejuvenation of the face bounded by the cheek bone superiorly and the lower jaw inferiorly, the ear laterally, and the "marionette lines", medially. Other face lift components will be addressed in other sections.

Face Lift (Lower)

A lower face lift improves the appearance of your cheeks and neck by tightening the skin, lifting the deeper structures and removing fat in undesirable areas. Neck and jaw lines will be more chiseled, and double chin and jowls should be greatly improved or eliminated. Deep creases from the nose to the corner of the mouth or jaw (nasolabial folds, or marionette lines) will be eliminated or softened. Overall, you should expect a more youthful appearance.

Generally, the lower face lift will be defined as surgical rejuvenation of the face bounded by the cheek bone superiorly and the collar bone inferiorly, the ear laterally, and the "marionette lines", medially.

Face Lift, Female Neck (Only)

A neck lift improves the appearance of your neck by tightening the skin, lifting the deeper structures and sculpting undesirable fat. Neck and jaw lines will be more chiseled, and the double chin should be greatly improved or eliminated. Your neck may appear longer and more graceful. Overall, you should expect a more youthful appearance.

Neck Liposuction

Liposuction of your neck will give your chin and jaw line a more defined and sculpted appearance. Your neck will also appear thinner and more graceful. In men, a more masculine or athletic look is restored. In general, removing even small amounts of fat greatly improves the neck's appearance.

Otoplasty (Ear Pinning)

Otoplasty or ear pinning reduces the size of your ears, re-creates the delicate and intricate shape of the ears, improves symmetry between the ears, and brings the ears closer to the head. The overall effect of otoplasty is to reduce the prominence of ears and to restore balance and harmony to the face. The result is enhanced natural attractiveness. Very frequently after otoplasty, the patient reports greatly improved self-esteem and self-confidence. It is not unusual for hairstyles to change (no longer hiding the prominent ears) and even clothing styles to change. Adults who have otoplasty usually say that they wish that they had had the procedure much earlier in their lives.

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty or nose reshaping, may be designed to improve the appearance and/or function of the nose. It can straighten a crooked nose, remove a hump, fix a boxy/bulbous/poorly shaped or crooked tip, shorten a long nose, and relieve breathing problems. Rhinoplasty brings the nose into harmony with the face and greatly enhances natural attractiveness of the face.
