Patient Concerns:
Weak chin, poorly defined jaw and neck line, jowls. This patient complained that appearance has bothered her since she was a child, and that she looks just like her father.

Surgical Goal:
To enhance the dimensions of the chin in the vertical, transverse, and anterior-posterior dimensions, create a better defined neck line, and restore balance to the face, especially the lower 1/3 of the face.

Surgical Notes:
This patient had a small chin, but the occlusion (bite) was fine. The other issue affecting the definition of the neck was a moderate to moderately large fat pad with mild jowls. The skin elasticity was good, so liposuction was performed at the same time as the chin implant.

Time Since Surgery:
3 months

Patient Testimonial:
"I am thrilled with the improvement. As an added bonus, I look like I lost 30 pounds!".

Age: 32

Height: 5'2

Weight 130 lbs

Implant used: Medpor Cat # 8321. Dimensions 56X36X7 mm. Two Piece Medium- 7mm projection. 250 cc's removed from neck with liposuction.
