Patient Concerns:
Post earrings would not stay in, she could only wear hoop earrings.
Surgical Goal:
The goals were to reconstruct the earlobe, leaving an inconspicuous scar. To get the patient an ear that would accept post earrings.
Surgical Notes:
A wedge resection (removal) of tissue with suture repair was performed.
