Patient Concerns:
The patient was concerned that the lips have thinned over time.

Surgical Goal:
Plump the lips up with her "own" tissue to achieve a permanent or long lasting, lip that looked, felt, and moved like a natural lip.

Surgical Notes:
This patient underwent a face lift and the stretched deeper layers that otherwise would have been discarded, were used to augment her upper and lower lips. A small benign lesion was removed from the lower lip at the time of augmentation.
